Where's my Trousers?

It ain't easy finding fitting trousers for a short legged person as I am. 

That's why I am asking you where to find them? 

Casa de la Ermita Dulce Tinto Monastrell

That's the name of this sweet red wine I bought for my loved one's birthday party.

It was meant to be a dessert wine but I discovered it goes well with blue cheese as well. It is extremely sweet and tasty. A good option rather that chocolate if you desire something sweet.

Long Time No Hear

Fruit&Veggie diet is done and gone. Thank god. I did cheat a bit by eating some fish, rice and yoghurt but otherwise it was a success. I felt lighter and had more energy e.g at the gym. I recommend it...but maybe only for a day or two. 

I have found new glasses to enjoy my fruit smoothies from. Water green Iittala's "Kartio" glasses and pink wine glasses from Stockmann Outlet. I like. 

Must drink it

Bad days&photos

Bad bad bad. Me. Haven't followed my diet as I should have. Yesterday I ate some fish and rice and today yoghurt. I am weak. I know. 

Will still try to continue on this "mostly fruit&veggie" diet plan until Friday. At least no bread, no sweets and no meat this week!

Fruit&Veggie Diet

DAY 1

Today it's the first day of my 5-day Fruit&Veggie diet. I try not to eat any meat, wheat or anything else but fresh fruit and veggies.

Don't ask why. I just want to push my limits.

Coffee with a little bit of milk is allowed. Let's not push too much.

Cosy Sunday

Don't feel like going out too much as it's cold. And there is snow. I am not a winter person at all.

Best thing in winter are cosy nights at home. 

Espresso Drama

There was an auction today at work. I was determined to offer the highest price for this espresso machine and I won! But there was some drama. I had to bribe someone to give up the contest.

Just hope the espresso is worth of the bribery.

Finland Boots

Love at first sight. Found these winter boots at UFF second hand shop. If the boots are called "Finland" they must be warm.

Holiday in Helsinki

Stressed out? Need a holiday but no time to travel? Why not booking a hotel in your home city.

I did. But where and when? It is a surprise for my dear boyfriend.

Night Table Wanted

There are so many good options for a simple night table. Here is my top3:

Of course, decoration is also needed. Iittala's pink Vitriini glass box and a cute dalecarlian horse would fit in.

Flowers

Some have probably already noticed that I like flowery patterns. Granny look, some might say. Anyway, I am going to spend this All Saints' day wearing my colorful flowers. 

Nostalgia

What is the remedy when you yearn for the past? For me it is simply "kettukarkki" (fox candy). Brings back those carefree childhood times.

I see red

Most of my favorite clothes are from flee markets or online auctions. Like this Benetton's knitted dress.

I know, winter is coming. But you can always dress up at home and pretend it's summer!

Good Morning Hazelnut

Just quickly before work wanted to come here and give all the coffee drinkers a tip. Try Indiska's Hazelnut brew to spice up the mornings. I recommend to mix it with the regular coffee first. (half and half)

I Am Love

Saw Luca Guadagnino's movie "I Am Love" yesterday. Have not quite made up my mind about it yet. It was something that made me hold my breath. Something odd. Something very Italian. Itch under my skin.


Movie being bad or good, I fell for Tilda Swinton. She is stunning. Absolutely ravishing. I want to see more of her.

Fresh Start for the Week

Why does it feel like it's always Monday! Weekends go way too fast.

I decided to pamper myself with a home spa today. Will start with YSL foam cleanser, put a fresh clay mask on and finish with Malu Wilz Ampoules. Found these delicious products on sale today!

And you must try this at home! Lingonberry juice with a hint of lime. Fresh is the word of the day!

Lemon Grass and Earrings

It has been one relaxing weekend.

We found a perfect little Thai Restaurant called "Lemon Grass" just around the corner where we live. Cosy atmosphere and food much more than tasty. What else can you ask for Sunday?

PS. I even wore earrings today which I usually don't do!

Cleaning Out My Closets

How to have fun when ill at home? Well, clean out your closets! 

I feel proud of myself after putting in order every piece of clothing I have. Too bad it didn't put my flu in order.

Friday means a time to breathe. Friday means good food like tapas dinner and red wine at home. Friday is my favourite day.

Trench Coat

Some say that trench coats are passé. I say I still love mine. What else would fit with all the autumn colors than a beige trench? I know. I have to get rid of this obsession of color beige.

Neglected

This week has been more or less very busy. Now it is time to take it easy at home reading old magazines and cuddling the neglected boyfriend of mine.
